100 Day Bible

Reading as a group

One start date, fourteen meetings, and everyone finishes Revelation in the same week.

Reading the whole Bible in 100 days is far easier with other people. The pace is quick enough that a group feels it together: everyone hits Leviticus in week two, everyone reaches the Psalms in week seven, and the Gospels arrive for all of you in week twelve.

How to run it

  1. Pick one start date. A Monday works well, so each week of the plan lines up with a calendar week. Starting on 4 January 2027 finishes on 13 April 2027.
  2. Meet once a week, fourteen times. Each meeting covers the week just read. The week guides on this site give a short orientation for each one.
  3. Ask the same three questions. What surprised you? What was hard to read? What will you carry into this week?
  4. Plan for people falling behind. Someone always does. Agree from the start that the group keeps the calendar, and anyone behind picks up with the current day.

Everyone can use their own Bible in any translation, because the plan goes by chapters. Give each person a printed chart to tick, or send them to the today page on their phone, which works out the day from the start date.

A first meeting

Before day 1, spend twenty minutes together. Hand out the charts, write the start date on each, and read the week 1 guide aloud. Agree on how you will keep in touch between meetings, whether a group chat or a weekly email. Pass around the sign-up sheet below so the leader has everyone's details.

The sign-up sheet

A one-page sheet with room for 20 names. Print it and pass it round.
